i generally do not care for poetry, so i was surprised how i enjoyed a few of pams poems. a great thing for her to leave behind, but so sad about her passing. my condolences.

thank you for remembering Pamela. lately I got to read her schoolwork which she had to fluff out to meet word count requirements but the flow of her words was still poetry after a fashion. she was doing A+ work online at the University of Phoenix, studying for a future that was cruelly cut short. I love Pamela, is all I can say. Thank you for preserving her…

It worked out okay. We went back last night to do a youth baptism trip, and I got to be the recorder. That was cool. It was a great trip.

i keep my temple bag in the car. i am sure there are very good reasons this is not recommended, but i do it anyway.
i feel your pain. i havent had this exact situation happen to me, but similar stuff. sorry you missed going to the temple.

Exactly. It took me 18 months to get my hair out of my face. It was no fun.

The weird thing with initiatories is that they still have you wear a shield. And, well, that we remain critical of Catholic sprinkling baptisms — they get you wetter than your washing does.

ponytails on guys? maybe. throwing it up in a clip? no way.
i have been told that inititories have dramatically changed and i am so ok with it!
i didnt go through for the first time until 07, so a lot of changes were under way.
going tonight-i was going to do inititories, but washed my hair.

I used to have the pony tail option, but I don’t think I did initiatories in those days. I really can’t remember. I remember doing one session of initiatories, and I don’t remember when it took place, but it’s been at least fifteen years.

(counts on fingers) I think I probably hit the pony-tail stage sometime in 1996, which was after my last endowment session, so I will state authoritatively that I didn’t. I did definitely miss the option of clips, though, for the 18 months it took for my bangs to get from the point they were in my eyes to the point they would reach the pony-tail. Baseball caps only went so far — and don’t work at Church.
