1. Where can I find (nude) pictures of Teri Hatcher?

There are a number of sites on the web that include pictures of Teri -- like these:

The Teri Hatcher Shrine in Ireland that this document used to point to is no longer up due to too much traffic. Some of the above sites don't include the topless pictures of Teri, but, since Teri is quite pretty with her clothes on, this shouldn't be a huge problem, right?

I once had an e-mail source for the picture -- someone you could e-mail and would e-mail it back to you, but he had to "go down" as far as this service is concerned -- too many requests. Fortunately, he went ahead and found me a source for the picture and another that includes another small topless shot. The pictures are on the last site on the above list (if you didn't find it already). Knowing their filenames, it took me a good twenty minutes to find them. Not knowing their filenames, I think you'll have a tougher time, but, if you want to look for them, be my guest.

1.a. Will you send me the pictures if I ask?

No.

1.a.1. Will you send me the pictures if I ask nicely?

Nope, but I will appreciate your politeness.

1.a.2. Will you send me the pictures if I call you names, threaten you, or just demand them?

No. Of course not.

1.a.3. I just tried to use those urls and none of them have any nude pictures of Teri on them. So now will you send me the picture?

At least one of the sites on the list above has these particular pictures (have I mentioned that they're really not that great a set of pictures?) -- they might go down from time to time because of excessive hits (you can't imagine how many people have wanted these pictures -- and you won't believe how pointless it all is until you've seen them), but that's life.

When you watch pigs flying wing-tip to wing-tip over you as you ice-skate on the frozen wastes of Hell after being struck by lightning three times while holding a winning lottery ticket, you can ask me again to send you the pictures.

I won't, of course, but it sure would be neat to talk to somebody who has been through all that.

1.a.4. Do you even have these pictures to send me?

Probably not -- sometimes I check out the sites I've listed above to make sure that they're still there, and if the pictures are still there, so there might be copies in my cache, but I wouldn't know which ones, and I really don't care if I do. The picture is lame. She really does look better than these pictures with her clothes on.

1.a.5. Yeah, right! I'll bet there really is no picture, and that you're just making this up to get attention?

Yeah. Right. As if!

Teri Hatcher's nude pictures used to be the most sought after pictures on the net. This FAQ alone took more than 24,000 hits in November, 1996, which could have cost me in the range of $75/month that I didn't have -- enough that I had to move it off that site. Do you really think I'd spend that much money that I don't have to get attention from you?

The pictures are out there. You may have to exert a little patience, but they're out there.

1.a.6. Okay, but will you send me the pictures?

AAAARGH!!! <beats head against the keyboard and screams>

Okay, I'm better now. No. I will not send this picture to anybody, no matter who they are, no matter how many times they ask, no matter how nicely or obnoxiously they ask. Never. Never ever. It's not gonna happen. No. Forget it. Don't ask. Don't even think about asking.

1.a.6.a. Are you saying I'm stupid?

If you have to ask, yes.

I'm sorry that it took getting that blunt to get people to stop asking for the pictures, but it did.

2. Will anyone mail me copies of the pictures if I post a request to alt.tv.lois-n-clark?

No. Hell, no. You may get mail for your request, but it will probably be multiple copies of this and things distinctly less nice. Posted requests for nude pictures of Teri are particularly annoying to regulars in a.tv.lnc, and you just don't want your request to be the one that causes one of them to snap with unpredictable results. (threat? What threat?)

3. Is anyone going to post uuencoded copies of pics of Teri to a.tv.lnc?

Hopefully not -- a.tv.lnc is not a binaries group, and posting bulky binaries to it is quite rude.

4. So all those people who posted "me too" requests for the nude pictures of Teri have not gotten the pictures and have only annoyed the regular readers of a.tv.lnc?

Yep, that's about the size of it.

4.a. Do posts that say things like "me too," "please send me some," and "I gotta have one of these! OHHHHHHHH BAAAAAAAAAABY!!!!!!!!!!!!" make people think I am a completely brain-dead moron with the social grace of an unflushed toilet and absolutely no social life that includes women?

Yes.

5. Hey, I haven't seen any "me too" posts in a long time. Is it really over?

I hesitate to claim that it's all over, but I haven't seen any in quite a while. I don't know that this FAQ has played a role in that, but I'd like to think so -- one of the "me too" threads survived for over a year.

6. Who the heck are you anyway, and why do you keep talking to yourself?

I'm Blain Nelson. I can be e-mailed at blain@blainn.cc. I keep talking to myself in the hopes that someday I will listen.

7. I've looked over the rest of your website. What's a good Mormon and abuse activist doing putting together a FAQ on nude pictures? Doesn't that go against what your church teaches and objectify women?

Well, actually, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hasn't had any official comment on this or any other portion of my site. I've not hidden it by any means -- I think they're leaving this a matter of personal choice (or they've just not found it yet; I'm not concerned whatever way it turns out to be). Anyone interested in participating in recovery from pornography addiction in an (unofficial) LDS environment might find this a useful resource.

If you see anything in this document which objectifies women, please bring it to my attention. I've looked this document over closely, and I don't see anything which at all objectifies women. I'm sorry that nude pictures exist. I'm sorry that porn is a huge problem in our society. I'm sorry that so many young actresses feel they have to do nude scenes to have a shot at a career in films. I'm sorrier yet that Teri decided to make another film with a nude scene at a point in her life that she didn't have to. And I'm really sorry that so many people are so obsessed with nude pictures of popular celebrities that they will post "me too" requests to inappropriate newsgroups without taking five minutes to seek out the picture. This FAQ was put together to eliminate those "me too" requests, and, along the way, to point out that someone can, with minimal effort, find such things on their own if they actually try.

(Those who haven't actually looked over the rest of my site, especially my abuse site, might want to.)

I'm sorry if anything in this is offensive to anybody. I've had people object to it, although I can't get them to specify what about this is so offensive. The only people I've intended to offend are the people who've said some rather stupid things regarding their pursuit of these pictures.

8. Hey, didn't you used to make it pretty easy to find the nude pictures in this thing? It's going to take me hours to find that picture now! Why did you do that?

Yes, I did used to make it much easier to find the nude pictures of Teri. That was when we were getting frequent requests for the picture on a.tv.lnc, and the only way I could see to stop that was to make the picture easy enough to find that any idiot could do so. That was also before the advent of large commercial celebrity porn sites (and when the topless pictures of Teri were pretty scandalous -- before the Pam and Tommy video went into circulation IOW).

Today, the demand for the picture is pretty low, and the idiots now have more exciting things to look at, so I don't have to worry so much if the pictures are a little harder to find. Also, I've found that the price for making the pictures so readily available has gotten higher than its value to me.
